Vanessa Anne Hudgens (December 14, 1988) is a singer and actress. He made his debut in 2003 and appeared in the films Thirteen and Thunderbirds. His greatest success has been involved in High School Musical movies. Hudgens began a music career and released her debut album V in 2006. His second album, Identified was released on July 1, 2008.
Vanessa was born in Salinas, California (United States). Guangco daughter of Gina and Greg Hudgens. [1] [2] has a younger sister Stella Hudgens. His father is American of Irish and Native American descent. His mother, who grew up in Manila (Philippines) Filipino descent. Starting at the age of eight, Hudgens appeared in musical theater as a singer, as well as in local productions of Carousel, The Wizard of Oz, The King and I, The Music Man, and Cinderella, among others. [5] His debut in a movie was Thirteen, playing the role of Noel. In 2004 appeared in the film Thunderbirds into the role of Tintin. [6] He moved to Los Angeles after winning an audition for Old Navy in 2005. In both productions appeared alongside Brady Corbet. His appearances include guest characters in Quintuplets, Still Standing, The Brothers Garcia, Drake & Josh and The Suite Life of Zack & Cody.
The role that gave him his rise to fame was in the series of Disney Channel Original Movies, High School Musical, starring as Gabriella Montez. Hudgens and her co-star in the film, Zac Efron won the award for "Best Chemistry" at the Teen Choice Awards for their roles. [7] His contributions to the soundtrack of High School Musical include "What I've Been Looking For (Reprise)", "When There Was Me and You", "Start of Something New", "Breaking Free" and "We're All in this Together." All songs were on the Billboard Hot 100. [8] The first High School Musical brought a successful soundtrack, a concert tour and a show at Walt Disney World. After the film, Hudgens began to concentrate on a musical career, signing a contract with Hollywood Records in 2006 to start a solo career. First, however, did a cover of the song "Colors Of The Wind" for Disneymania 5 album that same year.
In June 2006, Vanessa signed a record deal with Hollywood Records label. Their debut album, entitled V, was launched in September 2006. Debuted at 24 on Billboard 200 with 34,000 copies sold in its first week. His first single, Come Back to Me, was released with a music video in August of that year at the premiere of The Cheetah Girls 2 on Disney Channel. The official video for her second single, Say Ok, premiered at the premiere of the Disney movie, Jump In! The May 3, 2008 started the filming for High School Musical 3: Senior Year, which is produced by Walt Disney Pictures that opened in theaters on October 24, 2008 and was widely accepted by the public.
